The hottest temps I ever remember having here are around 36C and those were a long long time ago, in recent years we have rarely gone over 30.

I think the hottest we've ever had's around the mid-high 40s

Haha! We really used to get hot summers here in the 80s and 90s but now we get mostly 20-25 on average with a few days hotter than that. In those days we had also very very cold winters when it got down nearly to -40 and sometimes even further down than that here in the south too. Quite funny to go from ~30 to -35 day time temperatures in the same country in different seasons.

I could.. average of -15 to -18 here right now and 1-2 feet of snow at places where it hasn't been plowed into huge snow drifts yet. I'm used to the cold but it could be slightly warmer even in the winter. Only a few degrees below 0 would be nice instead of over -15 non stop every day for weeks.
