Arh Mr P, I'm actually from the UK I live in Australia. Melbourne is the height of good taste, I travel the world and if you think the Uk is only cutting edge country on the planet you need to get out a bit more, no watch's Neighbours and Home & Away twice a day like most of the UK come on show us your socks??

80% of my socks are white ankle socks except for a couple in black and a couple pairs of business socks.

cant remember seeing trainer sock's in the shops that much when i was in Oz.. they do all seem ta go for them pulled up sports socks with shorts.. kinda defeats the point of wearing shorts
