There's a difference between a Marine and a Soldier. I earned the title "Marine" so as to separate myself from the other forces. An example:
Here we are Marines, in our Marine Corps. There they are Soldiers in the Army.
It doesn't offend me but calling say Sgt. Major, "hey there Soldier" it would def rub him the wrong way. The correct way would be "hey there Marine"
Curious, anyone else in here prior service?

It's always good to see new (proper) people on here
Doesn't matter with the small collection, mine isn't huge as well. But as every day goes by in a pair of superstars (stopped wearing anything else years ago), it's a great feeling. No matter how expensive they were, as long as it's a pair which holds some kind of value to one self
