The small collection of 8!
#1

Hey everyone, I don't see my partner ever using this forum, so I thought i'd post pics of his superstars for him. He's not a crazy collector, and he won't buy any that he doesn't like, just so that he can say he has them. Which is great because if he did we'd have no cupboard space left!! Laughing

He wears them all, regularly. Everytime we leave the house, they are the ONLY type of shoe he wears (other than his work boots). You can see that they all seem to have some wear on the sides, where his feet rest in the footwell of the car. But as long as he's enjoying them, I couldn't give a rats ass what he does with them.

So anyway, it is a small collection so far, but I am working on getting him another 35th Anniversary pair for OUR anniversary next month. Fingers crossed for me!!

Thanks for your replies, his name's Andy, and he did sign up today so ner ner shellshock :p hahaha

And mr.pure, I can put up a pic of the end of the box, but it won't be correct. I bought the shoes through a guy on ebay, and he hadn't kept the box, so the box I got came from a pair of Lee Quinones. I checked for the things that were supposed to indicate a genuine superstar, and they seemed all correct to me. He didn't have any others for sale, and he did warn me about the box before I bought them, he also warned me that the gold metal lace keeper thing that goes through the shoelace down the bottom was 'absent'. He guaranteed me genuine and if anything didn't sit right with me I could send them back, but, I guess they all say that... Please don't let him be a douchebag seller, cos he'd be just like your signature.

doh Sad what should we look for, apart from what i've already done) to see if they are fakes or not? Is there a topic on that particular shoe anywhere that any one knows of? I guess the unfortunate thing about buying that kind of specialty shoe is that you don't really know what they look like til you get them. Like I said earlier, I have checked as much as possible for what I know to look for, but I realise that the incorrect box and missing lace tag thing (lace jewels?) being missing doesn't look good.

Sup Andy and Anna, welcome. Nice sups you got there. Everyone here is always willing to help so don't be afraid to ask. By the way Andy you ever looked at the vins? (vintage) soops. IMHO the best of the bunch. There may be a few dissenters to that view Smile . Getting rare now but they can still be found on the bay. Here is a link to a seller who is based in Canada, shipping charges are a little steep but he sells mint vins.

Go here for vins

and here for pro models

Good luck mate.

The strength of the dollar makes them expensive Vins too, he's got some nice stuff I'd like, but his shipping charges are a rip-off in my book. But yeah, Vins are the way to go!

It was fuckin' obvious that that cunt was gonnae fuck some cunt.
