Been trawling the net for flights and hotels. Planning on reaching over to Berlin with my pops next week. Just wondering if any of you know the best area to stay in.
Looking at the city centre obviously, but to those who know, should i be looking to stay near what i've been told is 'the famous Kurfürstendamm' or near Alexanderplatz???

if your pop's is up for a bit of a mental one this hotel is the place to go.. ive only stayed ina hostel in berlin, but have mates that have stayed here, they liked it

^I heard about that place. I can't remember where I stayed when I was in Berlin, but its a great city, lots of things to see there.

Thanks fellas, but my pops is having visa problems cos he only has an African passport, so it looks like we wont get to go.
He gets the pleasure of visiting me in sunny Cardiff instead!
