Closest thing we get to horse racing is the Burghley trials this week. Might try and sneak in - always a lot of nice summer dresses there.
Got to get down to some car boots someday - used to go with a friend almost weekly, so many cool yet useless things to be picked up there.

That reminds me of a story my farther in-law told me about the time he did a car boot someone said “how much for a the cup†30p was the reply, “can you knock a bit of that†so he chipped the handle off and gave them it for nowt.

Not a bad day at the races, £3 down on all my bets which for me is fantastic, got a 3rd a 2nd and a £52 winner, great weather too. Cushty, sorry mr.P i went out almost straight away, thanks anyway mate

This could probably be in the "Boils my blood" thread...
But my home DSL router fried last week and I've been without home internet ever since. I'm told I'll be up and running tomorrow... This makes life exceedingly difficult since I work out of a home office.
Tough to do my job without the innerweb.
Tethering off my blackberry right now... I'll check back in tomorrow when my connection speed is manageable.

Locked my keys in the car when I went to sign up for college this evening. Went for a big mac for the first time in ages whilst waiting for the repair guy to turn up (took him an hour to cover 4 miles - fuck overtime pay) and it was a bit shit. Also, the course I'm on is filled with 30 year old single mums and a guy who told everyone he met his "master" was pissed that he was missing his martial arts grading. He also quoted Yoda at one point.

Course I'm taking is an Access to Higher Education one (through teaching). One year course that gets me into university.
