Went to see Elbow play last night. Canadian band supporting called The Acorn who I enjoyed.
Bit of a trek on a monday night though, hours drive there and back.

Saw Elbow last November in Glasgow, best gig I've ever been to. Played Edinburgh last Friday but the Corn Exchange here is shit so didn't want to sully the memory of that last gig! Waiting for my copy of the Abbey Road album...

saw it last night actually, kinda sick of all these comic book come to life movies so I wasnt too thrilled with it.
but prob worth a look if you're still not sick of comic book movies.
a scanner darkly and sin city would have to be two of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

its had mixed reviews dirty i got it downloading as we speak so ill let ya know but i think the general vibe is "over hyped and not as good as expected"

Yeah seen them 4 times now, keep getting better and better. Stood next to Bill Bailey while watching the first gig I saw of them way back in 2001. He seemed to like them!
