You're a bit bloody good at that restoration malarkey.
You should make a career out of it.................

Thanks mate, but it takes too long to make off it. You are painting over stitches and I really only concentrate effort on the visible stuff. Ideally want to remake the shoe! That would be nuts though.

Hung out with my son at the closest official Arsenal America supporter pub this past Saturday...Fresno Gooners
A 4-0 thrashing of Aston Villa could only be topped by the Spurs getting thrashed by 10 men Newcastle
A pretty good morning it was that day

I've mostly been wondering if I made the right decision... bought a VW T4, was looking at fully finished campers but could never find something that I really liked, well not for my budget so following advice from mates I decided to get one that was finished on the outside but needed updating internally. had a bit of a wobble thinking I've bitten off more than I can chew, but hopefully it will look ok in the end. just cant believe how much the kitchen unit kits are, but then I guess by the time I bought all the tools needed and learnt how to do cabinetry it would work out cheaper getting a kit, lol
grey goose taste & glens vodka budget...lol

I know the feeling Pukka. Years ago we bought a -74 terrorist wagon (not the train nose but the next model, T2?) It was amazing but we ended up paying several times more for renovation than we originally paid for it.
Then after one very wet night I returned to where I left her the previous night and she wasn't there. Some ass hole had tried to steal it but didn't know how to get past the steering lock. So he managed to start it but since it only steered slightly left he ended up on a tram rails where some city officials had moved it. After that she was in such a bad shape we decided to let her go. Ended up selling it for about ten times more than we originally paid for it.
Was good fun and I've been thinking of getting one, but would need a garage for it.

Good luck with your new family member Smile

Cheers mate... shame about your van, hopefully that was a very rare thing to happen.
It can almost fit in my garage. Literally get a cigarette paper between the top of the van and the roller door. Need to remove an old radio antenna so it will fit. That or air suspension. Not got the budget for that so rremove antenna and poss lower shocks

The 100th Copa America is in the USA this year (1st time ever).
Bought tickets about three months ago for Argentina vs Chile (about 2 hours away in Santa Clara, California).
Yep, tickets up in the nosebleed section of the stadium (this is where the San Francisco 49ers play American Football).
I wanted to say that I've seen Lionel Messi play in person at least one time in my life.

Do you see him there playing?  Right there. The guy in the white jersey.

Of course not.  He was on the bench the entire match due to an injury sustained last week in an International Friendly leading up to the Copa America.  He was a listed sub, but as soon as Arg went up 2 - nil, we all knew that he wasn't going to enter. ARGH.  Oh well. Got to watch some other big name professionals... Aguero, Sanchez (Go Gunners!!), Di Maria, Mascherano, Higuain, Vidal.
