@Spitey: Do the Eldridges actually have any skate padding inside as in all the pics I've seen, the only main differences to basic white/black 80's seem to be the new tongue and Pete Eldridge's name stamped on the side. If it's really true, then it's soooo wrong to call them skates.

the eldridges gentlemen are comfy and they do have extra padding around the heel. they shouldn`t be called skates.

Cheers. I guess that's the new minimal route adidas is apparently going with skates by dropping out most details that actually make skates skates but I sincerely hope all or even any other new skates from now on WON'T be like those. I think I'll pass the eldridges anyway, got the basic 80's already and the E's aren't different enough from them to justify a purchase for me.

Yeah that type of skates really are great. I don't have that colourway tho, never been a top priority pair for me.

FC, them skates are a blinding colour way, but i ended up having to return mine cause they had an annoying crease on one of the shoes, apparently all the others did aswell, tried a different shop and they had the same issue, shame, nice colour way crappy production
