Very tasty and easy on the eyes colourway. Looks closer to bordeaux than dark brown as the seller describes it.

bordeaux... burgundy.... beautiful, either way. Just wish it had an "adidas name" to search for more of them.
I'm also more partial to superstars with the leather inner lining.

I think it's just the way his camera has taken the photo.
Far as I know these only came in black, blue, brown and green.

Yeah different cameras and certain lighting conditions can cause huge variations in colours. I've noticed the colour changing seems to be very common with laces as many of my laces look very different in the pics than what they really are.
