$27US...oddly the 1st pair of 'nubucky' soups - I say nubucky b/c these aren't truly nubuck, but that fake feeling version...

Picked this up for $9US which turned out to be a perfect match...Black Metal it was called...finally this pair which I picked up here in Canada for half off - $45Cdn - 60 yrs of S n S...my dilemma - to keep/refund/exchange for the black canvas version

The quality of the leather ain't so hot - look at the pattern before the stripes and after...seems more prominent closer to the heel - giving me the impression its not 'layered', but simply a pattern stamped on...plus I'm not so sold on the silly striping on the side of the soles...the black version is actually quite nice and I think the contrast looks better...anyone have pix of it? Post it up - thoughts people? Thx!
