Hey all,

Anyone been to the CrookedTongues website lately? Checked out some good reads and this one was absolutely awesome:

Hit up the 35th's Story and check out The Hype/Insight/Products links and you'll see some amazing footage on earlier iterations of some 35ths, cool footage of 35th reppers i.e. DMC, IB, etc...some kool pre-colorways of some of them...I actually liked some of them better than the final product!

Now go out and cop those 35ths!

While we are on the topic of 35ths, how likely is it that Adidas will make a big event out of the Soops 40th Anniversary? Where there ever any anniversarys before the 35th?

Ha ha! Yes I know! Thx Streak and Spite for the 'subtle' reminders ...I never went to the site before (at least not that I can remember), so its 'new' to me, even though I knew the info was relic...still a good timeless read though, no?

Hard to top the 35th hoopla I'd say Dirty...esp since everyone seems to be celebrating some brand/models anniversary currently or within the next few years...

I defo think some of those early ones look better that the final product, to name one ide say those early missy's shouldve stayed the way they were. I dont really like the Missy's.

I don't recall any anniversary celebrations before the 35th, don't know about other sneakers than Supes though.

Does anyone know if adidas started the whole sneaker anniversary thingey with the 35th? Would be kinda cool if they did!

I doubt it. There are no plans as yet as far as I know for a 40th Anniversary.
But who knows !
