Did they just start putting that metal button thing on the bottom of the laces, a couple of years ago?
I hate it and think it's ugly.
On the other hand, I'm generally too lazy to unlace the shoes to get rid of it. I'm thinking about buying some tin snips.
What's the deal with that thing?

Some like lace tags, some don't. Most people on here relace their kicks anyway (even if they don't switch laces) so it's no big deal for the majority of us.

Most of us like to have the laces enter holes from the top whereas the factory lacing has them enter from the bottom (except for the bottom lace holes).
