Anyone betting on the National this year?
#16

Well the missus just more than doubled her money!
I should have invested in a pair of fake super ape stars, at least I'd have had something to show for my money!!

Spot on.
Assuming you laid the same on Butler's Cabin you're £45 up.
Not bad for 10 minutes work.

I texted a mate yesterday: I fancy King John's Castle and Comply Or Die. I even told my dad as his name is John.

Today I am busy in the garden and don't manage to get to the bookies.

How silly do I feel now? crybaby crybaby

I'm really trying not to think about how many pairs of Shells I could have bought with the winnings!!!

I did a last minute bet on the National today - only because my sister reminded me it was on...
I chose Comply or Die because I liked the name - lucky! I only won £12, but all the same it made me smile Smile - If I was a girl that liked a gamble I would have put on more... Smile

Exactly cracky Smile
It was quite funny watching the race and seeing Comply come in like that - £12 will do nicely!
