My sky+ failing to record stuff!!!!!!!!!Grrrrrrrrrr 1st topgear of the new series as well.

The only channel ive had probs with is Syfi HD , a few times i went to watch something back and it said something along the lines of "No signal being received" i gave up on "V" in the end as it wasnt my thang!

My parents sky+ fails to record all the time, the unplug it at night, seems to do the trick

Never had a problem with my sky+hd. Check that your wires that come from the dish are not bent. We had the same problem with our old sky+ box.

My fucking HP laptop died 
. And offcourse it's been ages since I last made a backup. Try and google HP and broken and you'll find A LOT OF hits. HP sucks, I'll never buy from them again. I'm on my 10 year old, slow desktop right now
