Aye but thats fairly heavy so 1st class recorded would be 9 to 10 pounds but this guys charging it for bloody soops!

That was my point.
It went by standard parcels and cost me £11.74 !
Ebay's rules allow people to charge what they want and for that charge to include a fee for accepting Paypal, so long as it's not added after the end of the auction.
At the end of the day, if you've got the costs of shipping in front of you, you just bid accordingly.
