I don't do it for the metabolism boost, Nik, but to keep my overall calorie count low - if I'm never really hungry I'm more likely to stay disciplined.

I did the 6 meals a day thing many years ago and lost about a stone and a half.
Two half stone dinners over Christmas has ruined me though.
