Right chaps.
I got the tags back from the casters just before Christmas and started cleaning them up as they were, as usual, pretty rough from the casting plaster.
As I was bending them to shape nearly half of them broke so I've gotta get some more made up.
I'm gonna send out the ones I have got in the order they were paid for unless anyone wants to volunteer to wait a couple of weeks ?
Didn't have this trouble with the first lot so fuck knows what kind of Aluminium he's used for this lot.
It's a pain in the arse for sure though as I'll now be paying a gnat's for you lot to wear 'em.
Ho hum.

You use casting plaster moulds?

No, I've got a rubber mould which they inject wax into, then they put the waxes together to make a tree, put the tree in a flask, fill flask with plaster, heat flask up to 800*c for 8 hours to vaporise the wax leaving a tree shaped hole in the plaster which is then filled with metal.

I guess I've been posting quite bit over the past months. I've always been like this on all the forums I've registered in tho, trying to help out poor souls the best I can which often means a lot of posts.
