Out with the missus last night on a bit of a bender and jokingly I told her that I was going to take some of her paycheque and buy some new kicks today.
She scowled at me and said that I'd already bought 4 pairs this week.
I didn't remember buying 3 of those pairs.
Do I need to go to rehab?

It became painfully obvious last night when I took my son to see the Movie "Semi Pro"...
There are a couple shots where it showed the players shoes and they were wearing some classic White with Blue Striped Pro-models. I nudged my son and whispered, "Check out the kicks".
My son said back, "Oh God, get over it Dad! You did the same thing on the McDonalds Dancing kid commercial.... lame!"
My KID thinks I'm pathetic.... but he doesn't have a damn problem with wearing a pair when he wants....

Nah, go for it fella! This week i have bought 1 pair, secured a deal with a SSDB member for sumthing sweet!!! and bargained with another ebayer for sumthing else and the weekend isnt here yet. got all day online Saturday and a trip to the outlet to deal with yet.
You would only waste the cash on shite otherwise!

I'm another one of you who looks at characters on TV for superstars (Chris from Ashes to Ashes wearing a pair of plain white/blue iirc). (Un?)Fortunately I don't have the income to become a full-on addict - especially with my income being cut in half within the next few months)
