UK parcel deliveries - who do you prefer?
#1

OK so when you get your fresh kicks delivered - do you have any preference who brings them?

Royal Mail? Courier? A particular courier? Or doesnt it matter as long as they get there quick and safe?

Cheers

:Now thats strange..just taken a parcel in for next door, delivered by ANC..even wished me a pleasent weekend...I prefer a courier who will knock on the neighbours to leave the parcel with them,or even in a 'safe' place, which is normally in the wheelie bin in the garden.DHL are the only courier who I've had to ring to get it re-delivered..and that was an automated service..quick an' easy..so no preference.all have done their jobs fairly well

To be honest, I only buy from places that use royal mail now - all the courier depots are miles from my house - it's cost me more getting to them than the value of the things I've bought sometimes.

Cool thanks, I'm going to change to Parceline for UK deliveries I think. Means I can offer cheaper next day delivery, especially when sending more than 1 pair. Downside is no Saturday deliveries and maybe harder to collect missed packages.

Royal Mail's service is generally very good, but when they get things wrong it's impossible to sort them out due to their useless communication.

That was something I'm worried about Manus, are you unable to have them redelivered to another address? Or is that too much hassle?

Redelivery and delivery to other addresses depends on the couriers policy. Parceline will deliver to any postoffice for 50p if you miss their delivery. That's pretty good

I prefer to have a team of Balaneese virgins in silk slippers to deliver my kicks by hand, then give me a sensual massage with "happy ending", make me a cup of coffe then relace my new shoes for me.

Failing that, ParceVery Happyline is just as good I guess!

Kinda get the idea that if 'happy ending' is involved, their virgin status went by the wayside long ago!!!!!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Special Delivery is the one for me.
It's guaranteed, it's insured and you can get 'em on Saturday as long as you pay and extra £2.

Special or Recorded? Special would cost loads for a pair of kicks surely

I'd say Royal Mail meself, can always nip to the sorting office to get em

Wishing it was like the old days again

Special, did a pair today, it includes insurance up to £500 and it's next day, just costs a bit extra if it's done on a Friday for Saturday delivery.
