While I was waiting for the postie I went out to the outlet store, where they were having a buy one get one free sale, picked up some white/bordeaux vins, and the black stars vins - for about GBP50 all up, I was pretty happy! I'll be happier when the f*&kin postie gets here though...

it's weird, they fill the outlet store with stuff you can't buy anywhere else in Christchurch, and at reduced prices, and then every school holidays they have big sales on top of the outlet prices (last time was 30% off everything, and this time effectively 50% off). My only complaint is that they don't have the best size runs (being an outlet), but tis a small gripe. I was so stoked, plus one of the store guys there noticed my UP's, about an hour after I'd put them on for the first time, and was well jealous

I wish they had stores with crazy prices like that near me! The closest to that near me is sportsworld, which is a bit wank, they have the odd pair of soops, but never at particularly low prices... Plus i think they actually beat up the shoes and boxes out back before selling them...

Ahhhh...those Qing Ming's are starting to grow on me! I hated them at first...but I think I may have to purchase a pair to commemorate my trip
