How y'all doin? I may be the oldest person on this forum turned 42 in 2007. Also, seems being an American may be odd for an Adidophile but here is the story. Grew up playing footy (yes, no really). A skateboarder for life and work put me in with punk rock here in the states and then later hip-hop. FOr some reason San Francisco has a lot of love for the 3 stripes, especially Shells. I grew up shopping at a little spot called Harput's, which is widely known as the best place in the States for Adidas back in the day and is still up and running although in a weird transitional state these days.
Thankfully, I have travelled extensively and that helps to keep me up with Adidas stuff pre all this web access we now have. Adversely, I wear a U.S. 13 and have had my heart broken in many countries not being able to cop some ill ish.
Here are a few pics. So happy that SSDB exists and thrives. I have been lurking here pretty much since the start so beforer I get to posting I noticed good netiquette is to post up in the Guest Book.

Welcome! It's good to see more people from Cali here!!! Nice collection, I myself wear 12 or 12.5's and I got the same las vegas KG's and patent black leather supes as you. Unfortunately we don't have anything like Harputs in socal, but at least they got a website. Those new black CLR's are sold through Footlocker in Europe, and are a European exclusive, so I don't expect them to be coming stateside anytime soon. But someone from the UK here may be able to sort you out on those. And if you don't mind me asking where did you get your current CLR's from? Especially in that size?

God, I how long have I been a lurker on SSDB, the day I found it I was so happy. I thought i was alone in the world, lol. I think it was within 2 months of the site launching? I remember a re-config. of sorts awhile back.
Adidas and Shells are not popular here due to the Gay community to be sure. Shells are the OG gangster shoe of choice up here and all the hard-ass white boys still rock proper Shells as a staple shoe.
Adidas and Shells in particular seem to be what Converse and Chuck's are to LA gangsters. Chucks had there time but largely went to the Mexican gang community and punkers. The Mexican gangs are all loosely related across the country so perhaps they adopted it from LA. Tough to say cuz them shoes although dope, are seriously cheap to buy so that effects the equation quite a bit.

p.s If you need help getting the new clr's ill be happy to help as i live in the uk so can always pick you up a pair when i go to get mine.Although it might be worth waiting till they hit the bay with are strong pound.

I thought that using the term "Frisco" was a huge no-no, much like "San-Fran", or is that just a myth?
Also, thats a large size kick you're rocking, must make getting certain styles a pain in the ass, or do they always come up with large sizes over there.
