But you are complaining, which is just totally ridiculous. Somebody posts a pic of a painting they've been 'working on and off at for months' and all you feel fit to do is ask why more of the tongue isn't visible?

That's gold wildthing - I wish I could paint like that, I always end up painting 'stylized' colour block stuff, which looks quite cool, but is really just fancy colouring in.

nicely done, but if i were painting, i wouldn't paint 'empty inside' superstars. you know what i mean the tongue is barely visible.

I think it shows great attention to detail dude, very impressed. good to see our fave kicks expressed in this way.

Regarding the 'empty inside' and barely visible tongue, it's not something I've thought about, it's just the way they look because of the angle and the way they're 'posed'. They're supposed to look like a pair of heavily worn beaters just thrown in a corner after being worn, not a fancy ad photo with everything styled if you know what I mean. Also, they're not all black inside on the actual painting, there are some shades of purple, it's just not easy to see in the crappy pic I took...

That painting is beautiful! I think I want one! If you guys are actually interested and wildthing, if you want to make copies of this, to sell or whatever. I have an amazing, solvent based printer at my store. It can print large format(actual size) posters or even better canvas. I have printed a few things and they look just like the real painting(without the texture) I could print em on canvas, roll em up, send em oversees, and you can stretch them on wood or strecher bars(at craft stores)
