I particularly like the people in the queue laughing as we came round the corner cos they thought "Ha ha, back of the queue" only to be gutted when we walked off cos we just weren't interested.

guys, what a day!

it started off about 9am, with me and the girlfriend setting off from home, in mansfield, and shooting down the M1..

we got a little bit lost, as they were digging up the M1 where i needed to get off.. But we eventually found the Ikea we were looking for.. (big thanks to Google Maps on my phone!!!!)

parked up, used ikea's facilities.. then walked down the road to stonebridge station (think it was called stonebridge anyway..)

On to the tube, and before we knew it we were in oxford circus and walking to try and find the john snow!

Got lost again, so streak met us outside size

He took us down to the john snow, and everyone was there waiting

We did the rounds, the guys showed me round all your sneaker shops, and i experienced my first trainer queue

I want to thank you all who attended, for showing me and my girlfriend around all day, and being such a fucking awesome bunch of people...

So pure, spite, streak, Mr SS and sneakerphile... THANK YOU!

Someone needs to call ahead and book tables at Bodeans. That place was awesome, we have to eat there again (although we should warn them that we'll be there a while so Pure can finish his ribs - more corn-bread anyone!) Try and make it a Leo Sayer this time as well, instead of us all buggering off home around 6-ish.

Anyway, like Vera said, "we'll meet again"
