Scratch, my Heroes boxset still hasn't arrived. I emailed Play and they still haven't gotten back to me yet. F*ckin clowns!

Bad luck.

New season starts here next week and I can't wait.

Anyone in the UK happen to watch Spooks (aka MI-5 in North America)?

We must have been watching different shows then as I thought it was excellent!
I've been looking forward to this for months now and the first episode sets it all up nicely.
Roll on next weeks episode.

I went to the flicks yesterday & saw it, was OK, but the biggest let down was the N*ke River run, & the N*ke product placement!!
Had it been sponsored by a brand with 3 stripes, my opinion may have been slightly improved!
I was impressed by the trailer for the new Will Smith film, "I am legend" I think it was called, might be worth a look.
Oh & "Ratatouille" is OK, if you like light hearted humerous films, out at the Cinema in the UK next month, however available from all "knock off Nigels" Wink for a couple of months now.

I Am Legend looks amazing!
It's a remake of an old 70s zombie movie called The Omega Man.

Zwer, I have all the Spooks DVD boxsets. I love that show, think it's fantastic.

Scratch, I saw the trailer for "I Am Legend" last night. First thing I thought was that this looked like a remake of Omega Man. Hope Chuck has a cameo in itVery Happy
Also saw the trailer for "The Invasion" with Nicole Kidman. It's a remake of Body Snatchers! Why bother though. You can't get better than the remake with Donald Sutherland. That was classic!!!
Oh yeah, my Heroes boxset finally arrived. I had to pay f'ing customs charges on it. £14 including Royalmail handling fee. Bastards! I've never had that happen before and I have ordered untold boxsets from the states before. Still, at least I got it nowVery Happy

I know it's a movies thread, but the original novel of this is a pretty good read. Not seen The Omega Man so I can't really judge; but I think I prefer the original idea of vampires to zombies. Guess I'll have to check it out first tho!

Well, I've just been to see Death Proof.
I didn't bother staying to the end.

I saw Death Proof the other night, and Manus, if you didn't stay til the end, you missed one of the greatest ass-kickings I have seen in a movie since Ray Liotta pistol whipped that guy in Goodfellas!
It was a mad movie. Granted, it took a while to get moving, but when it did it was great.
I'd give it 4 outta 5.Very Happy

lol. If the film was 80 minutes long, it would have been a decent road horror. As it was, I just got bored. I had been looking forward to grindhouse for months.

I'm sure that the end of the film will be on youtube soon!

On a brighter note - I've just seen the trailer for alien vs predator: requiem and have just pissed myself!

Oh, and I saw "Kenny" tonight. It proves that the word "shitter" is always funny!
