Saw American Gangster last night which was well worth the wait.
Wouldn't be surprised if Denzel is up for another Oscar.

I saw Michael Clayton last night. It was an movie with alot of depth and alot of character development. There alot of twists to the story and it wasn't boring.

Just back from seeing Eastern Promises.
Highly enjoyable, but just a tad on the slow side.

It's good to be annoyed by films. I agree with a lot of his views, it's just that the hamfisted way he puts them over kind of diminishes the effect.
Actually Sicko is one of his better films as he stays on topic most of the way through.

I'm off to see a whole bunch of horror films on halloween including Dracula with Peter Cushing!

new trailer for i am legend is out now and has wet my appetite for it , i bought the book and read it all in 3 hours , very short but was amazing , i hope the film does it justice as they just normally ruin it by the end , arnie was supposed to play the lead role but as the film took so long to get made will smith ended up doing it not sure if this is a good thing as its hit and miss with big willie on his films .... hitch anyone lol although i did like his last movie with his kid
american gangster was amazing i would agree that denzel deserves an oscar not sure about russel crowes accent in it though
there is a serious lack of good films coming out though , fast and the furious i never liked
saw 4 is getting old hat now

From what I can gather, I Am Legend is based more on being a remake of The Omega Man (which itself was based on the original book "I Am Legend", but they used zombies instead of vampires as the bad guys) So that means zombies again. Don't know why they don't go down the vampire route. Strange.
Watch The Omega Man first though, it's a classic!
