yeah, word to the wise: if you're buying anything from Canada and the seller is listed as being from Richmond, it's as good as saying they're fake.
Ask for a pic of the Livestock receipt - they're the only Canadian Consortium partner.
I was damn mad at myself for missing that auction, it only ended around $400+30 shipping to Canada for 2 pairs, which is a fair price I"d think. I actually sent him an msg and he said he got them at livestock, and will include the receipt when shipping those out. It could be he just bought more to flip for profit.

anybody here familiar with sample shoes? I might be able to get a hold of a sample pair of the vaders (the one with vader's mask on it). I will have the pics of the shoes in couple days. you guys think it's ok to be posted here?

Yeah, definitely post pics of the samples. Especially next to the real production versions. I was disappointed to see that the real production version has nothing to do with Star Wars in terms of being an actual officially licensed product. Nowhere on the packaging or on the shoe does it say LucasArts or Star Wars, only "Super Star" in the Star Wars type font.

Yeah it's a shame the the picture of Vader didn't make it to the official release. I would jump on a sample pair, even though all samples are a US size 9, witch would be too small for me, I'd still grab 'em if I had the chance.
