Yep, never tried a pair of superstar I's, but the II's are just great. Love them, have 3 of them. Want more, but it seems that many of the cool superstars are in the first version. Are they the same or do I have to try them out first? Haven't found any in my town and I want to buy a pair on internet now.

Personally I wear the same size in all Superstars, 1s, 2s and vintages, but there might be a slight difference regarding how they fit. In my experience it might just as well depend on which factory or which country they were made in though

I find because of the padded tongue, that the 2's fit a little snugger(?) than 1's..

I normally wear 9.5-10 in 1s and 10-10.5 in IIs. If you go for the same size as your IIs and they're too big, just get some thick socks

Didnt want to hear that hehe, so if I go with the smaller one everything would be fine. I always wear thin socks... More posh they say.
