Lace Flip's

sab.. they do look better like that. Now,as you look at them the left shoe is fine.. however on the right one you've gone: underlap, underlap, overlap, overlap, overlap, overlap.

Now us purists (no pud intended) like to go mirror overlap. (have a look at sk8's pic)

all day i dream and shine.

The way you started it, it should be underlaps the whole way up to get the mirrored finish.

I'm waiting on a pair of fat green laces for the G5's, but because the Europa League was boring me tonight I tried some Mr SS white fatties in em (inspired by GeeBee's pics). Together with the white stripes I think it looks nice, think I'm gonna rock em this way.

We've soaked them in a tea solution to make them more of an off white to match some supes..

Hard to do, you need to alter the chemical structure of the laces while the dyeing takes place in order for it to stay.
But even then some pigments don't work.
I successfully dyed some white laces yellow by heating them up in white vinegar with Turmeric but it wasn't a strong yellow.

So its not as easy as dying wool then.

Most laces have polyester in them - it's hard for the dye to fix, I tried it with some of mine but wouldnt really recommend it.

biggest noob question ever, but do u guys just let your laces roam free on the inside when you rock em? (for those who dont tie laces).. or do u have some tying method like poking them out the top eyelets with knots etc

i used to tie laces but for the last 4 months just been rocking em loose, looks so much better, but i just leave the laces to play amongst my foot lol

just a general noob thing to ask which probably has been covered before tongue

I've always just tucked em in. pain the arse though when they come out n its been raining.
Have to tuck wet laces back in to my supes and the laces get stained and mashed pretty quick. Not a fan of tied laces at all.

Would you be good enough to participate in this morning's edification?

sometimes you can carefully pull up the insoles and tuck the remaining laces underneath..
