And how many people (English) celebrate St. Georges Day?
Fuck all i bet, its a disgrace.
In London yesterday all i saw was English people celebrating another countries patron saint, worlds gone mad!
It would all be different if i was in charge! Laughing

I heard people saying similar stuff yesterday as in "Do you think they celebrate Australia Day?" but I have Irish blood and some of the people I was with were actually Irish and to be honest it's a really good excuse to wear green and drink pints! Laughing

Dont get me wrong i have nothing against anyone celebrating St Paddys day but i wish that the English would celebrate their own Patron saint where each year the day comes and goes and most people are totally unaware.
England is slowly losing all of its customs and traditions and heritage and it is a real shame that one of the oldest countries with perhaps some of the best history is being forgotton about and if you dare to say anything you are automatically a racist! If you wear an England football shirt you are a thug and if you want to fly the St Georges flag you have to be careful incase you upset someone who lives here who might find it offensive! It makes my blood boil. Twisted Evil
Anyway rant over now! Cup of tea and a lie down me thinks!
Sorry guys! Laughing

I celebrate St George's Day every year by going out to an Irish pub, drinking Belgium beer and staggering home whilst eating Turkish food.

I don't know who St. George is! But I do know that Corned beef and potatoes are good! And that unalcoholic Irish Coffee is good too!

And that being Catholic and celebrating St. Patrick's day makes it all the better!!

I agree sooper, i noticed that around the world cup time, everyone in england loved england.. flew flags, wore england shirts, and stuck engeland stickers everywhere..

As soon as the world cup was over, no one liked england any more?

Talk about following fashion!

It sucks!

I need more lemon pledge...  Very Happy
