Hey all,

I am new to this site but it has some awsome info, nothing else like it out on the net! Been rocking superstars for a while now but didnt realise how bad they were until last years 35th anniversary stuff came out! Wish I knew a little bit more about them before hand cus some of the prices of them now are crazy!

Anyhows, a big wassup to everyone here on the forum!


P.S. kinda a newbie and everything so whats the difference between superstar I's, II's and vintage? Is this the kinda question thats gonna get me dirty looks from everyone?

In answer to your last question, no fella.
1's have a thin foam tongue and no metal eyelets.
2's have a padded tongue and can have metal eyelets but not always.
Vintage is exactly what it says on the tin, very similar to the original shoe, it has a thin stitched tongue and tapered sole unit.
I think that's everything.

Have to admit the superstars II's are a bit more comfy cus the leather tongue on some I's take ages to wear in and they cut into me feet

Feel a bit embrassed now cus you can all tell I am a total newbie cus I didn't know which year the 35th came out in! Do feel a bit better that I messed up cus it means only 3 years until the 40th stuff comes out! Yay!
