I finally snapped under the pressure and bought a PS3 Did it on ebay, paid 270€ with the shipping, it comes from the US with a game (Madden 0
I'm really pumped up, I can't wait to receive it, hopefully customs don't try to bug me out and I get it in the middle of the week.
About the power supply unit, it's universal, so you can plug any PS3 on any voltage in the world, all you need is a different kettle if the socket are different. I borrowed one from an old computer and it should work. I'll be getting GT5 Prologue, Burnout Paradise and MLB 08 the show once everything is set up and working fine.

A little known fact!! 80% of 360s have been returned due to faults!!and most 360 owners are on there 3rd replacement!!

It's a pisstake, I still thing they piss on the playstation but microsoft have dropped the frickin ball with the contant fuck-ups. You almost get the impression it's significantly cheaper to just keep replacing them than to re-deign the internals etc?
