I thought the Premium 360's were £280 on release but i dont know if the price has come down or not since then in which case your probably right.

I think they are about £250 now so somethings got to give really as nobody's gonna buy the 20gb one when you can get the 120gb for the same money eh

Yeah id be gutted if i had just paid out for the original 360 only to find that they are about to release a lot better machine for the same price! I would hope that Micosoft will dramatically lower the price of the original unit to make way for the new Elite Version but you never know with Microsoft!

Anyway the Beta version of Halo 3 is finally available to download today and its supposed (according to my mates!) to be fucking awesome! Im off to do some downloading then!

I bought the premium Xbox around Christmas for £250.

Yeah I might but I'm more than happy to wait.
The button configuration on the Playstation is second nature to me these days but when I'm playing on the Xbox I have to keep looking down and subsequently keep getting mullered.

Halo 3 is looking very good indeed from the little time i got to play it yesterday and well worth a try if you have a 360 and a copy of Crackdown.

Spent all afternoon and evening playing Halo 3 it rocks! Loads of new weapons etc . I can feel some more coming on today, its very addictive! Its only around for three weeks so you gotta make the most of it!

Its gonna be big fella. The Beta version only has three maps but they are awesome! Im trying to get as much time on it as poss before they pull it in three weeks time! Gutted!
