Just completed Alan Wake for the second time. Good game, took about 3 solid days gaming to go through first time. Second time a little shorter as you know where to go. (Do it on Hard and then it unlocks Nightmare which you need to do for one of the achievements) Really enjoyed it; part game, part horror novel, part TV show. Great idea.

Games I am looking forward to are Force Unleashed 2 (have to check out the new trailer for it), Assassins Creed 3 (direct sequal to the second game, playing the same character but in Rome this time) and finally Gears 3 (gonna be awesome!)

We've had this GT5 discusion several times before P and I have to say again, that something probably comes up and they have to postpone it for another year.
I have bought two different steering wheels just because I thought that now they are really releasing GT5. As I don't have any other driving games they've been waiting in the basement for that day to come.

trailer looking good - I even noticed a car taking damage!! That's a first.

Only thing that truly bugs me with GT is the crap AI. CPU cars all taking the same driving line in some sort of procession and skidding out on the same corner every lap.

If they fix that it'll be nigh on perfect

got a ps3 ... played the cod games for it but hardly play it anymore as more of a pc gamer... use ps3 as media server n shit etc etc... wud like to know if anyone else can rock a KB + mouse rather than joypads.... they too slow goddamn.

Current games I'd recommend:

Battlefield Bad Company 2
Red Dead Redemption
Pro Evo
and COD World At War for Zombies

There's been a few others I enjoyed playing but sold on completion. There's a lot better games around now than the first year or so!

Have to agree with others. Also one very simple and cheap yet nice game is Catan. It's a conversion from classic board game that you can play against AI or over the Innernet with real people.
