I would love to say that i am Mr.Thing but sadly i am not! I do know him though, not as well as Mr Toes or other mates of mine but we do share a passion for Superstars and collecting Vinyl! He has a big Superstar collection im sure you saw him on the Adidas site and Mr Toes!
I know Mr Toes very well we grew up together and went round in a crew (sounds sad now but it wasnt then!) and i sold him a pair of Superstars might od even been my first pair as they hurt my toes! ah the good ol days!!
Some of our other mates who are still fanatical may be coming on soon now i have told them about this! I told them we are not alone!

No your right i would have used that name if i was him! I wonder if he knows about this site? Im sure Mr Toes would have said something if he is still in contact with him? I will enquire .
My old crew is still about and a few of the boys i see weekly but others have drifted off and got families etc or just disappeared of the face of the earth.
The only writing i do these days is on my big desk pad i have at work ! I still love it but dont do it, too risky at my age. Most of it round my way is rubbish both the pieces and the Tags especially the tags , its like they havent got a clue? Its not the same anymore!

Yeah i agree its like they dont really know why they are doing it or what to do or what it means or signifies it seems to me like it is more of a vandalism thing than an Artform which they think is cool.
And whats with the Reebok Classics and socks tucked into their crappy trackie bottoms! No style whatsoever and if you try to explain about the music you might as well save your breath they no nothing unless its Eminem, fiddy cent etc! You say Electro and you just get blank stares! Its such a shame they dont even know the roots. Sorry i got a bit carried away, time for my medication!

Gotta say though that I met some young writers recently and they knew the fuckin' deal.
Compared to the generation in between me and them who clearly didn't
bother to find out that you don't use a name that was used by somebody who
was up before they even started writing.
I'm just bitter cos somebody not a million miles from me is writing Pure.
Gonna get all my can skills back and wipe the floor with him.
