They seem like some kind of bull fighting / halloween / fireworks night inspired doodah to me but America we're the only buggers who celebrate fireworks night so that ain't it.

Well firstly JMJ's coz of the black shell & sole, Neighborhoods because of the white stitch detailing & the colour print reminds me of a pair i've seen somewhere before, but i can't remember what pair or where

They also remind me of Edvard Munchs - The Scream

Well most black SS 11's have a different coloured soul dont they?

Isn't it usually just a visable coloured band around the very bottom of the shoe - correct me if i'm wrong though

If you spin around in a circle ten times really fast and then look at them they almost look like the black graffitti's.
But not as good in my opinion.
