Yeah, that'll be the acid from the stomach that's done it.
Don't really feel like yodelling all over a pair of trainers though !

A girl once puked cider and blackcurrent on a pair of my blue suedes...

It bleached them. And the blackcurrent turned them pink.

nice

I've tried to recreate it in the lab by bleaching with Hydrochloric acid, but the results aren't consistent and suede doesn't dry very well.

I might try some old battery acid but I'm sure it'll totally fuck the suede up.
Could always neutralise the acid afterwards with caustic soda and then rinse thoroughly with water.
Fuck it, this is turning into a right pain in the arse.
The lemon juice doesn't appear to be working.
All I want is some blue suede vintages !

Sad

Battery acid probably wont work - it's sulphuric acid, you want hydrochloric acid although hydrogen peroxide might work. Or sodium hypochlorite (like milton sterilizing solution) could be a gentle alternative.

Dude, if you sort this problem out, it'd be minty fresh of you.

Very Happy

Right, the only thing that has made any impact is Hydrochloric acid.

hopefully it'll look better when it's dry, but you can kinda see that there has been a bit of lightening of the suede in this bad pic...
