first sample of a shoe made for c-law from fabric from his collaboration. thought you lot might find them interesting,

slight differences from standard, slimmed down upper , height and width, less padding in the heel, cut down ankle (like a vintage)

will make sure i post the actual shoes done for c-law which should be based on a vintage with the nicer (imo) sole unit

So, just to make sure I understand correctly, these are basically samples of what will (hopefully) be released later as a Superstar vintage?

if so, all I can say is:

BAM!!! I WANT THEM!!!

@dj_wildthing

no not something that will be officially released but a sample of a custom that will be done for c-law (on a vintage)
basically wanted to make sure that the addict fabric was suitable for using on a shoe so i used a standard ss1

D'OH!!!
Dammit, I would have loved a pair of those...

Just out of curiousity, what would a custom pair like that cost for, say, someone like me?
I understand I wouldn't be able to have them made out of the same material of course, so basically I just want to know what it would cost to have a pair of SS vintage made with me choosing the material for the upper

difficult to say mate, certainly a lot less than your gonna pay for some of the 35th consortium stuff .

youve got to take into account theres around 30 hours work in a pair like this.

so therefore with materials and such plus shipping, well not cheap to say the least.

id have to work it out properly.

i could do them more quickly but the quality would suffer and the shape wouldnt be up to much.

To be honest I don't think 30 hours doesn't sounds too bad, and I'd rather have them made properly than compromise on quality.

I'll have a good think about the material for the upper, but it will most likely be suede - I'm a sucker for suede!
