On the subject of home bleaching, barf will do the same job mr p
My mate once puked on his hoodie after a serious night of beer, washed it the next day and there was a massive bleached puke mark on the front, had to bin it
I have to admit i've still got a pair of whites I bought for a custom job just sat in the box, don't know where to start with em
Wishing it was like the old days again

A girl once puked cider and blackcurrent on a pair of my blue suedes...
It bleached them. And the blackcurrent turned them pink.
nice
I've tried to recreate it in the lab by bleaching with Hydrochloric acid, but the results aren't consistent and suede doesn't dry very well.

Battery acid probably wont work - it's sulphuric acid, you want hydrochloric acid although hydrogen peroxide might work. Or sodium hypochlorite (like milton sterilizing solution) could be a gentle alternative.

Right, the only thing that has made any impact is Hydrochloric acid.
hopefully it'll look better when it's dry, but you can kinda see that there has been a bit of lightening of the suede in this bad pic...
