superstar wikipedia?
#11

Wikis are an excecise in anarchy (the political variety, rather than the media fed violent variety)...

For the most they tend to work for the same reason that open source software development works.

However, elements of vandalism can creep in on wikipedia this tends to be political stuff - people with opposing views will alter pages to their bend. Just check any pages on wikipedia about Arab-Israeli conflict.

Wikipedia generally has to moderate these pages.

However, our Superstars Wiki would attract much less attention. Personally I was thinking of a seperate Superstars Wiki, however, a cheaper and easier way of going about it would be to just add pages to Wikipedia, after all it has pages for computer games and such as the like - so why not trainers...

I dont want to turn off guest postings in here, in case someone cannot log in and needs help!

But on another note, i have decided to create a WIKI for superstars!

SO we can finally put all this knowledge in ONE place FOREVER! Very Happy

Can you not set it so only the help forum can be posted in by guests?

Wishing it was like the old days again

Regarding the wikiI think it is a really good idea, I thought it worked in that you have to register to edit, but before your edits go live they have to be looked at and approved, I could be wrong, but something makes me think that may be how it works.

There is more information regarding Supes in this forum than in this Wiki that someone created!
