Very Nice Pro Mods Dave, too bad about the tongue. I would take everything off and let my GF make an exact cover in black fabric. And then glue the cover onto the foam.

I'd just remake a tongue and stitch it in.
Wouldn't be that hard to do.
I'd even consider doing it for you as an exchange perhaps ?!?

Failing that maybe you could find a cheap pair of red tongued adidas..soops or none soops and transplant them onto them??

Yeh, your probably right, it was more of a waterproof/ preserve exercise than anyting else, I know how you feel about soop modification
