Fucking council not putting any salt on the pavements. Been snowing here since Thursday, which freezes over night so all the pavements turn into fucking ice rinks.
Somehow not fallen over yet (mainly cos I've been walking on the fucking road as it's probably safer). Worse thing that can happen to me is a bruise and being laughed at by school kids, but if someone old falls they could really hurt themselves.
About time those cunts used my cooncil tax money for something useful and put some fucking salt down!

Taking 4 hours to get home from work including stops at Brixton, Wimbledon, Morden and West Croydon.

Try living in Montreal for a winter, fella. I lived on the side of Mont Royal. Rich people lived on the top, flat part. The flat part was immaculately sanded and salted and that ended right at the street where the rich part ended. One morning I slipped and slid on my ass for a good 30 feet through ice and slush and water. It was not epical.

Just found out I might have to go back to Vancouver over the holidays. Mom's wounds from her surgery are not healing well and she's been readmitted to the hospital this afternoon.
