amazing looking roast.
I think I over did it on the butter chicken and rice last night. My stomach and I are not friends right now.

I cooked another roast last night. This one is bigger (2,3kg) and better. Any good recipes for gravy?

Take the dish you cooked the meat in, pour off the oil, add a little flour, stir, add some red wine and "deglaze" the dish over the heat on the hob.
It'll thicken up and taste great when the alcohol has been driven off.

Be very fuckin careful with the "dish over the heat" section of these instructions. I knows just how badly that shit can go wrong when you've let yourself get a bit "semi-detached" on Christmas day and midway through bustin the gravy you wander off to play a bit of Wii.....exploding pyrex fragments with your dinner sir?
