I for one know nothing about politics, but for me political talk has no place on here, as Samo said, we don't want people falling out, disagreement over lacing styles is good, disagreement over more serious issues isn't

I didn't really mean to have a heated argument. As I could see from the first responses to this thread, everyone has there point of view. What I meant when I proposed a "political ramblings" thread was simply a place to gripe and groan about the newest bullshit that our "leaders" have pushed on us. I mean for our own good of course....

Here's an example:

I can't light up a cigarette in a bar or any other place for that matter. There isn't even a smoking section outdoors any more.... WTF???

Or:

It is illegal to skateboard in this city. I saw two people get arrested in front of the bar I was sitting in for SKATEBOARDING! They were on long boards. Not like they were being obnoxious and grinding the paint off of everything they could run their boards across. WTF???

Or:

I cannot walk my dog on the beach. That is retarded. I saw an old couple last week get a $300 ticket for walking their old ass almost blind dog down to the water in front of their house. Maybe that was his last request. Is there no common sense? America the free my ass....

This is kinda what I meant. And all of these are true.
