Here are the cavs i got today...
Im certain they are fake, the quality of the box is terrible, the stitching is poor, they have little heel clits, the tag was looped round the laces... the biggest giveaway though was the matching serial numbers...








Got them from the ebay seller sassyheels...

You're absolutely right.
The stitching at the back is wrong and the pattern on the upper is more akin to snakeskin than caviar.
Start a claim asap and use 'em for decorating.

Bloody awfull.. That box is a joke too.. Like P said, start a claim!

Dispute filed, ebay are doing a new thing where you have to phone up to file the dispute. If you try and do it the old way it keeps looping you back to a screen with their phone number. They asked my how I knew they are fake, I explained and they agreed to refund the item then and there, refund will come through in up to three days, and "ebay requests" that i destroy the counterfeight goods because "ebay does not encourage people to sell counterfeit items..."

Sometimes adidas shorten the name of the sneaker on the label, I have a few with the last letter missed off. Cav lables do say " CAVIA"

Seems that new system might be a real decent way of doing things - certainly better than waiting on a 21 day paypal dispute.
