The best of luck to you Funke, you can do it. I'm just sitting here at school nervous as all hell about the first speech I have to do in my speech class today. I absolutely can't stand speaking in front of people, especially for 7 f*@king minutes straight

I was like that in my first speech also. Just breathe, make eye contact, speak loud and clear and know that everybody else is just as nervous as you!

Good thinking Plur.
It will be ok Galaxy...I used to get nervous too. One thing that helps is to think about talking to each person individually in the audience. That wouldn't make you nervous would it? So, really it isn't that much different than talking to all of them collectively.

I remember a class presentation years ago and I was bricking it. It was a marketing campaign type thing and I was trying to sell a hoverboard (I even made one - an old skate deck with a frisbee duct-taped on for a anti-grav plate and a card toilet roll for jet propulsion). Tried to make a funny presentation as I always relax when I know people ain't bored shitless by me. After the first laugh things just kinda came together. Since then I've been alright at speaking to groups, once you've got the first few words out you'll be fine Gal.
Had my first driving lesson for 6 months this morning. Went proper good, I didn't even crash into anything! Hopefully should only be a month or two until I can take my test

Whenever I have to present I try to remember that the audience knows the position you're in, most of them feel your pain and the vast majority want you to do well. Unless you're hopelessly boring they'll be appreciative.
Good luck!

Camper van? Nooo, take a MK2 Golf GTI, unmodified to the fest. You'll be fighting them off with a shitty stick.
