I did search for a thread and there are a couple of old ones.. but I'd personally enjoy a pictorial guide to what we all like, from over the years? What colours and materials, style and shapes?  I bought doubles of one pair quite a few times and they weren't limited or expensive. I'm gonna go away and dig out pics, but please post away if you have something in mind.

Following the theme, with a slight tweak. My top 5 (in no particular order) from my own collection. Picking my favourites would probably amount to a bout of depression due to not owning them (35th FP, Bape staff blacks etc..) :p

Mental quality. As anyone that owns these will attest, pictures w8ll never do these justice.



The colours, the shape, the style. All fucking DOPE!!!


I love these so much! They are the only pair i have ever doubled up on (this is pair #2). Again, colour is dope. But also, I loved NY. Chuck in the history NY plays with the soop, from Graff, breaking, hip hop. An absolute given in this selection.


Simple, sleak, understated. Fresh!


A toss up between the black Def Jams, the Beauty and Yoots and these. These won out due to the shear decadence. Un-fuckin-believable quality, rare as all shit and almost unwearable due to the fear of marking them. Proper neck-snapping shenanigans! Me likey alot :p

Great thread Ben... definitely got my thinking! Superstar 2s from around 2000 do it for me especially the Asia canvas and hemp varieties.

Red sharks,sweed Cvs,Bluebirds, red/white wvn, med sand light sand and green hemps!

Could probably do an 80s and vins but they would mainly consist of consortium releases and deep down its the ss2 shape that does it for me, made me become a member of this magical forum..
