Can't put up an official want post in sales thread - so just getting it out there in general - if I've doubled up - it's a mistake - stupidly deleted my sent items so had no record of who I've contacted. Apologies if I've upset anyone.

Admittedly I'm new here but trying hard to get involved with all of the forum. Not just on the scrounge. I've had loads of unexpected down time recently and this site has become a firm favourite - read almost everything on here. Like I say - apologies if any offence has been caused.

Strangly, I actually picked up a pair of these today. Travelled back to UK to find a set on my door step. Lurkzilla hooked me up with a pair in great condition - many thanks to him. Gonna try them out with some blue laces or maybe some plain cotton vintages. Will post a photo when I get them set up nicely - have ordered some longer laces so just waiting for them. Thanks for sharing Big Vern - still loving the purple/blue set you sent me a while back too.

Here are my Snakes - decided to go with blue laces for now but have a set of vintage creams for the true retro look at a later date. Thanks to Lurkzilla again for getting them to me.

Quite liking the blue laces but think I'll go old school soon enough. The vintage ones will complete the vintage look much better.
