Harputs X Run DMC - Superstar 80s Poster
#1

Peter O'Toole has put together an illustration in honour of the above, he tells me you can have an A3 print for £18 delivered in the UK. I thought some peeps on here might be interested.
email him pete@peter-otoole.co.uk ..if you are on FB you can check him there.

Looks great!

They are playing a show near me and I was going to get tickets but I think I'm going to pass. Would rather have the memory of them in their heyday, I think.

I run the risk of repeating history here.. but if we can decide on a rough idea for a print, Pete will do an SSDB one if there are orders to make it worth while. Maybe SSDB est. 2007 ? Home of the superstar... illustration of definitive model (maybe a vin and an 80 to keep it OG style) would we be able to come together and agree to buy one?

I'd definitely be down for an OG 80's 'supe version, Ben.

@Olskool: Saw a vid of one of their recent performances. Rapping over a vocal track. D's voice is shot. Run is overweight. Jay is gone. Confused Age happens, I guess.

I'd post the link but it's too depressing.

I'd buy one as well, though I want mine to say "est. 2005" Wink

Also liking Ben's idea!

I'll buy a SSDB print. Maybe we could have it like the one above but with Streak, Pure and Spitey instead of RunDMC? Wink

This is a great idea, but sadly it will probably never happen B Sad
