Here's a couple of skate shops advertising white / gum SS skates. Don't know what's in stock tho. I've used exit.uk.com before, and they're pretty good.

Sneakerphile ! What you got from before the 35th anniversary ?

Pre-anniversary? Well, an assortment of various styles really.
I've loved superstars for years, but couldn't afford many so I wore them all to death (my oldest pair, whites with navy blue stripes) were relegated to gardening shoes about 2 years ago, and I had them for at least 4 years prior to that.

I got a sick pair of corderory/suede Campus about 10-12 years ago which I still have in pretty good nick (only cost me £15 brand new)

Some beautiful Red Suede Sambas (which I had to bring back to life after I let a candle drip was all over them!), some Gazelles.

Picked up a pair of Watermelons when they first hit the stores in 2001 from Union in Greenwich Village, New York (they only had one pair left in the blue/silver and they were my size. FATE!) I went back there in 2002 and got a pair of the re-issued Superskate Hi-Tops (white/blue trim/red stripes)

So a pretty average collection, not mentioning other brands I have, as this is an Adidas forum (don't worry, NO NIKES)

It's only been since I got a promotion and substantial pay-rise back in late 2004 that i've had the cash to through myself into this most glorious of past-times full speed. Lucky for me, that coincided with the release of the Anniversary series and my first forays into "ebay land".
Between Feb and July last year, I spent just over £2,500 in pursuit of the Anniversaries, and ended up with the collection I posted previously (I also have 5 pairs of "spares", but i'll list those on the For Sale section)

A few other choice editions have come my way, in no small part thanks to MrShoeShotta, since then, as well as hooking some of the Adicolor series this year (only 10 pairs, the prices were getting silly!), the most recent ones being a gen-u-ine pair of Crooked Tongues, complete with all the trimmings.

This year I also started customising Superstars to sell. I've had a tough time selling a couple of pairs on ebay (the first pair I did went well, got £80) but I have had commisions from a few people, so thats promising, and it's keeping me busy (working on two pairs at the moment, plus another 4 in the pipeline) I'll probably start a new thread to show my customs.

Anyway, thats my shoe history. As soon as I sort my shit out i'll get some good pics of my collection and post them.

Going back now to the last post, and the comment about "no creases", I want you to know that, aside from the Chili Peppers, I have worn every single pair of my anniversaries, at least once. But I take an analy-retentive amount of care of my kicks, and alternate what I wear so frequently that they never get worn out or look old.

Here endeth the lesson.

HOLY SHITE!!!!!

You know how badly I want these? And they're my size too (why the fuck that matters, i'd never wear the bloody things)
Damn you MrShoeShotta, why do they make 'em so tasty.
The sick thing is, I could probably wait these out, swoop in with my credit card at the last minute, then sell them on for a profit.

Be quite surprised if they sell for that.
There's been about 14 pairs sold on the bay and they are going down in price every time.
One of the last pairs sold in open auction went for £1600.
Tuma picked up a pair for £800.
They just ain't worth that much, period.
